Twilight....are you serious

Am I the only person out there that thinks Twilight is LAME?! Seriously, I have given it a chance, but I do not think I can finish it. I am on page 320 and I keep hoping it will get better. Everyone else I know read it all in one night. I have not even wanted to pick it up - I had to force myself to!

So, tell me what happens in the end. PLEASE! It won't ruin it, I will just know if I want to finish it or not. Honestly if I hear once more how beautiful Edward is or his damn cold hands touching her face I will puke. The way she describes things is getting majorly repetetive.....and driving me insane.

I am so HAPPY that you don't like it either. I thought that I was the only one on the planet that didn't like it. I read about 100+ pages in and had to give up. I guess I just don't have an imagination. I can't get into the vampire thing. So my advice and I am sure the only one who will say this but STOP READING IT NOW! :)

I liked the books, actually, I liked the story. I do admit they are not well written and I think the thing that bugged me the most were the dreams she kept having. "I woke up screaming again but Charlie is just used to it now". Oh brother, how lame. And yes, things do get repetetive in it. I did like the whole Vampire thing though, and I think that is why I liked them so much was becasue I am really into all that creepy horror vampire stuff. I have read "The Vampire Lestat" and "Queen of the Damned" and all those books by Anne Rice, so I am always up for another vampire book. I read all 3 books in 4 days. But I can see how some people wouldn't like it, it is super cheesy and there are some parts that are like "GAG!" But I just really have a thing for vampires...

i have to agree with chelsea. i read the books pretty fast, but while reading i kept thinking the books had potential to be much better and much less cheesy.

Bella Swan moves from Phoenix, Arizona to live with her father in Forks, Washington to allow her mother to travel with her new husband, a minor league baseball player. After moving to Forks, Bella finds herself involuntarily drawn to a mysterious, handsome boy, Edward Cullen. She eventually learns that he is a member of a vampire family who drink animal blood rather than human. Edward and Bella fall in love, but James, a sadistic vampire from another coven, is drawn to drink Bella's blood. Edward and the other Cullens defend Bella. She escapes to Phoenix, Arizona, where she is tricked into confronting James, who tries to kill her. She is seriously wounded, but Edward rescues her and they return to Forks.
